Attire
All athletes competing in Centre or Association meetings must be registered with the LA NSW Association and must compete in unmodified Centre registered uniforms as notified to the Association each year. Little Athletics NSW Uniform Requirements apply to ALL athletes competing at their Centre or representing their Centre at any competition. Compression pants may be worn under uniform shorts; however clothing displaying non-approved logos or advertising must not be worn while competing. Individual registration numbers are to be worn by ALL LANSW competitors firmly affixed to the front of the uniform top. McDonald's Numbers must not be modified and must clearly show the sponsor’s logo, red border and the number. You may like to leave the top edge of the number patch un-stitched - that way athletes can pop their performance tickets in the pocket. :-) LANSW age patches are to be worn on the front left hand side of the uniform. Coles sponsor patches are to be worn on the right-hand chest of the uniform top. Click the LANSW Placement of Numbers and Patches - Official Guidelines for more information. |
The Uniform of Cardiff & District Little Athletics Centre consists of:
Girls
A child competing in a mixture of different dress and colour makes them look out of place and does not reflect the high standards that this Centre continually strives to achieve. Should the cost of a uniform be a financial burden, please check with the Uniform officer, as there may be used uniforms for sale or complimentary. We require all athletes to compete in centre uniform by week 4 of the point score competition. Whenever possible children should wear hats and sunscreen to protect them from the sun and have a drink bottle to minimise the risk of dehydration. Tracksuits must be removed while actually competing - in colder weather a compression shirt or other long-sleeved top may be worn under the competition singlet. |
